The Drivo II is Elite’s updated and improved top-end trainer, giving their most accurate ride data and most effective workout ever. Elite claim category leading performance in two areas: Accuracy and power capacity.
At 3,600 watts this trainer has by far the greatest capacity of any trainer on the market. But that level is out of reach for even the strongest sprinter in the pro peleton. The really draw is the accuracy level of +/-0.5%, backed up by DCrainmaker’s test. That means there’s no noticeable variance from your actual power output to what’s recorded on your training app of choice.
It’s larger and at 19kg, heavier than most trainers. But that gives you excellent stability and road-feel. Bike Radar enjoyed the comfort of long rides. They also clocked noise levels of 65db – close to the best in the category.
It requires some assembly out of the box (nothing too challenging) and you’ll need to add your own cassette. But Elite do provide their own MyEtraining app – allowing you to start workouts immediately.
